Chicago’s complex social landscape inspires Terry Galvan’s stories, from the realistic to the fantastic to the downright horrifying. A former anthropologist and Fulbright grantee, Terry spends nights performing at literary events throughout the city, shopping their novel, and nursing their Catholic guilt with a good deal of whiskey.
Terry has completed the first dark/urban fantasy novel of the Seraph series, along with many shorter works of fiction & nonfiction.
Terry can be found at:
- Unreal: a fiction-focused, experimental open mic 3rd Tuesday of the month and Schuba’s Tavern upper lounge
- Volumes Bookcafe events such as Deep Dish SFF Reading Series
- City Lit and Uncharted book stores, participating in lit events or buying altogether too many books
- The Walk-In or Webster’s, writing fervently
